Synopsis for "2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams (2010)": When this year's round of unsuspecting Northerners fail to show up for their annual Guts N' Glory Jamboree, the residents of Pleasant Valley take their cannibalistic carnival on the road and head to Iowa where they encounter spoiled heiresses Rome & Tina Sheraton and the cast and crew of their "Road Rascals" reality show. Performing "The Bloodiest Show on Earth", our Southern Maniacs prove more than ratings killers in what John Landis has called "one of the rare sequels that surpasses the original".

This **** was funny as hell. The spoofs were great. The tits were awesome. The 2 Scottsdale douchebag guys were hilarious with their affliction clothes. The mexican was great also. Loved it all. 5/5

2000 Maniacs is the original from 1964, directed by Herschel G. Lewis. 2001 Maniacs was a straight remake of 2000 Maniacs. Granted, the stylistic differences make each worth watching, but the plots are identical. Need to watch this one to see if it is worth adding to the collection.

OMG this movies is so retared, 15min and I had to stop. I dont remember the original too much but I know its was better then then **** ass remake! with the bad acting.

After witnessing the madness of the first 2001 Manics, we should all know by now that the real stars of the epic horror film are the bad guys.I just think its a poor excuse for a movie when they recast certain characters for the sequel and we can all tell that they must not have watched the first film. Everyone who was recast did an okay job , but where did they find the new Harper, at an Alice Cooper or Marilyn Manson convention. His portrayal of the sexy , and charasmatic Harper looked like a drag queen who never made it home from a long night at a night club and walked on to the set of this movie. Well, I guess the casting director tried.lol. THe new victums cant act at all, all they did was walk around and curse, and the majority of them was just as weird if not more weird, than the 2001 Maniacs, and how in the world can you get 2001 Maniacs on one bus.lol.
