Synopsis for "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules (2011)": Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2: Rodrick Rules is a comedy drama, directed by David Bowers and written by Gabe Sachs. The movie is based on the novel of the same name written by Jeff Kinney. The movie revolves around Greg Heffley, who has recently entered seventh grade and wants to put the past three months and a secret behind him. As Greg begins his journey in the seventh grade, he gets to deal with his parents' erroneous efforts to bond him with his older brother, his chief tormentor, Rodrick, who unfortunately knows the very secret that Greg wants to hide. Rodrick is a tough child and often builds difficulties for Greg.
